From Washington:       From Washington DC...take I-66 West until you come to the Highway 50 exit.  Take highway 50 West and continue until you pass through the community of Aldie.  This will be after you have crossed over highway 15/50 at Gilberts Corner.  After leaving Aldie, you'll see a sign for Philomont/Bluemont.  Turn RIGHT onto highway 734 or Snickersville Turnpike.  Stay on this scenic but curvy road for about 6 miles.  After you cross the second of two bridges, you will come to the top of the hill and turn RIGHT onto Jeb Stuart Road.  We're the third house on the left. 

FROM DULLES AIRPORT: After leaving the airport,  turn South on HWY 28.  Stay on 28 until you see the sign for HWY 50 to Winchester.  Turn Right onto HWY 50 West. Stay on HWY 50 until you pass through Aldie and see the sign for Philomont and Bluemont, or HWY 734, Snickersville Road.  Follow this for about 6 miles and then turn right onto Jeb Stuart Road.  We're the third house on the left.  

From Upperville and other areas West of Middleburg take Hwy 50 East:  Head East toward Middleburg and turn LEFT onto County Road 611 toward Purcellville.  Stay on 611 for about 8 miles or until you get to the Flashing Red Light/Stop Sign at County Road 734, Snickersville Pike.  Turn RIGHT on Snickersville Pike and proceed up the road about 2 miles until you see Jeb Stuart Road for the second time, turn left on Jeb Stuart and Middle Grove Inn is the third house on the left.    (NOTE:  You can turn LEFT  on Jeb Stuart in front of the General Store and proceed for about a mile until you see the Middle Grove sign on the right).  (Caution:  As you are proceeding down 611 you will see a sign for Jeb Stuart Rd. on your RIGHT.  DO NOT take this Jeb Stuart  unless you want to cross over a small creek.) 

From Washington DC and Leesburg area using Hwy 7:   From I 495 exit to Highway 7 West to Leesburg.  Continue going West following Hwy 7.  Exit at  Route 287 South for Purcellville.  Make a LEFT TURN at the traffic light and proceed until you come to a stop sign at Business 7 or Main Street.   Make a RIGHT TURN and proceed through the town of Purcellville--about 2 miles.  Make a LEFT TURN at the 7/11 store (without a gas station--there are 2 in town) this is 32nd street or Hwy 690 South.   Proceed South on 690 for 5 miles or until you get to the stop sign/red flashing light at Snickersville Pike.  Make a LEFT TURN onto the Pike and proceed for about two miles  or so until you see  Jeb Stuart Rd for the second time.   Make a LEFT TURN onto Jeb Stuart Rd, and Middle Grove Inn is the third house on the left.  (NOTE:  you can turn left at the Philomont General Store and come down Jeb Stuart Road for one mile...continue until you see the Middle Grove Inn sign which will be on the right side)

         Coming from Pennsylvania or Fredrick Maryland area:

Take Highway 15/340 West toward Harpers Ferry, W. Va.       Stay on Highway 340 W.  At the traffic light just prior to entering West Virginia and Harper's Ferry, turn LEFT onto Harpers Ferry Road or Highway 671.  Follow this until you come to Highway 9.  Turn LEFT on highway 9, continue through Hillsboro.  At the traffic light in Hillsboro, turn RIGHT onto Highway 690S toward Purcellville.  Follow this road until you come to Main Street.  Turn Right at the traffic light and turn Left at the 7/11 store (without a gas station)  this is 690 South or 32nd Street.   Follow this road until you come to the flashing traffic (5.5 miles).  Turn LEFT and go 2 miles, turning LEFT on Jeb Stuart Road.  This will be the second time you see Jeb Stuart Road.  We're the third house on the left.

NOTE:  You can also turn on 15 South toward Leesburg.  Once you are in the Leesburg area, follow the directions from Leesburg to Middle Grove Inn. 

From Winchester and points WEST using Hwy 7: Exit from Interstate 81 at Winchester taking Hwy 7 EAST.  After crossing the Shenandoah River and cresting the hill, look for the sign indicating Bluemont and Philomont.  You'll be taking a right on Clayton Hall Road.  Follow until it dead ends at Bluemont.  Turn left on Hwy 734 or Snickersville Turnpike.  Stay on this road until you come to Jeb Stuart Road.  Note you'll see Jeb Stuart the first time at the Philomont General Store, please do not turn there.  Go one (1) more mile and turn left on Jeb Stuart Road.  We're the third house on the left.
